The society scene
Pattaya runs on bar golf societies — the cheapest, most social way onto the coast's tee sheets. Show up solo on Monday, have twenty playing partners by Wednesday. Verified from the societies' own 2026 pages.
HOLE 01 — THE UMBRELLA
Pattaya Sports Club
Pattaya Sports Club (pattayasports.org) — the umbrella body: office at 3/197 Pattaya 3rd Road next to the Pattaya Driving Range. Maintains the WHS handicap system the bar societies use (cards submitted after every round), publishes monthly negotiated member rates + a multi-society schedule, and lists ~16–18 affiliated societies. Historical green-fee voucher scheme currently dormant.

Bunker Boys
The Sports Lounge, Soi Buakhao (opposite Tree Town) · Mon / Wed / Fri
Join: Open to all (max hcp 30), no membership fee — sign in at the bar by 09:15, depart 09:30, tee ~11:00; LINE group the day before helps. Visitors get 3 rounds before PSC membership is expected.
Cost: ฿220 comp fee + ฿300 to your driver + course rate; hire clubs ฿100/day
TRGG — Traveller's Rest Golf Group
Traveller's Rest bar · Mon–Sat, different course daily
Join: Apply at the bar or trggpattaya.com; non-members welcome, members save ฿100/round. Buses leave the bar 60–90 min before tee-off.
Cost: Membership ฿2,000 first year / ฿1,000 renewal; June 2026 day price ฿1,750–2,450 most days (Laem Chabang 3,750) including green fee, caddy, cart AND transport; ฿10,000 hole-in-one prize
Lewinski's / Sugar Shack Golf
Lewinski's Golf Bar & Hotel, Soi 13/3 off Beach Road · 2–3 outings weekly + monthly majors
Join: Register at lewinskis.com or at the bar; the group travels together. Special Siam CC discount via management.

The Links Golf Society
The Links Hotel & Bar, Soi Buakhao · Mon / Wed / Fri
Join: All welcome — residents and holidaymakers; sign up at the hotel bar
Cost: Negotiated course rates at cost + comp fee

Join: Turn up or call ahead; breakfast at the lodge from 07:00 on golf days

HOLE 03 — HOW A SOCIETY DAY WORKS
Bar to bar, tee to 19th
Sign up at the bar (sheet on the wall) or via LINE/Facebook, ideally the day before
Morning: clubs loaded at the bar, breakfast from ~07:00, typical depart 08:15–09:30 for a 10:00–11:00 tee
Pay one bundle at the bar — green fee, caddy, cart, transport, comp entry — then walk straight to your caddy at the course
Stableford most days, a medal monthly; PSC WHS handicaps, cards submitted after every round; max hcp ~30
Back at the bar ~18:00–18:30: showers, presentations, prizes, the 19th hole
Visitors welcome everywhere — a certified home handicap is accepted until a PSC one exists

Visitor questions
What is a Pattaya golf society?
A bar-based golf club: sign up at the bar, ride their bus to a negotiated-rate course, play a Stableford off a PSC handicap, then come back for showers, presentations and the 19th hole. Around 16–18 societies operate under the Pattaya Sports Club umbrella.
Can a visitor just join a round?
Yes — that's the point. Bunker Boys, TRGG, The Links and the rest all welcome holidaymakers; a certified home handicap is accepted until a PSC one exists. Sign up at the bar the day before, or message their LINE/Facebook.
What does a society day cost?
June 2026, all-in with transport: ฿1,750–2,450 at most courses (Laem Chabang ฿3,750) via TRGG; Bunker Boys runs course rate + ฿220 comp fee + ฿300 to your driver. Cheaper than doing the same course solo, with a game thrown in.
