Getting on the tee sheet
Phone, WhatsApp or LINE the pro shop — every course publishes numbers. Green-season weekdays, you can usually just turn up.
GolfSavers / golfpattaya.com, Golfasian, golfdd and the GOLFDIGG app all sell Pattaya tee times in 2026 — often below rack rate, sometimes with transfers.

Transfers, verified
Bolt / Grab
All operate in Pattaya 2026. Verified datapoint: ~฿400–450 one-way downtown→Burapha. Fine for daytime; risky at dawn — driver scarcity pre-7am, golf-bag refusals, and nothing waiting for the ride home.
Fixed-fare golf taxi
Private car round-trip with waiting: ฿2,000–2,900 per vehicle for 2–4 golfers + bags. MWS Taxi publishes course-by-course drive times (Siam Old 15–30 min, Phoenix 20–35, Burapha 30–45, Laem Chabang 45–60).
Society bus
The de-facto golf shuttle: TRGG runs buses Mon–Sat with transport inside the ฿1,750–2,450 day price. Car-pooling with a member? The norm is ฿300 to the driver.

Dress code + rentals
Wear
Collared shirt (men), tailored shorts or trousers — long socks not required. Women: collared sleeveless tops, skorts fine. Soft-spike shoes expected nearly everywhere. No denim, gym shorts, tank tops or sandals — courses can and do refuse play.
Rent
Clubs: Phoenix Gold ฿1,300 (TaylorMade/Titleist) · Siam CC ฿2,500 · Bangpra ~฿1,200 · society hire ฿100/day. Shoes ฿200–800. Umbrellas ฿200–500 — your caddy holds it. Practice first: Pattaya Driving Range (3rd Road) or Diana Range (~30 floodlit bays) are both in town.

First-timer questions
Do I need to book a tee time in advance?
Green-season weekdays: walk-ins are generally fine. Weekends and all of high season (Nov–Mar): book ahead — by phone/LINE direct, via platforms like GolfSavers or golfdd, or through a society, which is the easiest route for solo golfers.
What's the dress code at Thai courses?
Collared shirt, tailored shorts or trousers, soft-spike golf shoes. No denim, beachwear or sandals. Long socks are NOT required in Thailand. Women: collared sleeveless tops and skorts are fine.
Can I rent clubs in Pattaya?
Yes — Phoenix Gold rents TaylorMade/Titleist sets at ฿1,300 (official), Siam CC at ฿2,500, Bangpra around ฿1,200, and the Sports Lounge society bar hires sets for ฿100 a day. Shoes rent for ฿200–800 depending on the course.
What happens if it rains?
Started rounds get 9- or 18-hole vouchers at most courses; there are no advance rain refunds. Green-season storms are mostly short and in the afternoon — morning tee times dodge most of it.
