Publishing principles

Start with the user's decision

Pages are organised around real planning tasks: choosing a course, understanding the full cost of a round, preparing for caddies, arranging transport and avoiding booking surprises.

Keep changing facts dated

Green fees, promotions, operating conditions, facilities and booking rules can change quickly. We prefer course-owned and other primary sources, record the check date, and label third-party or indicative figures.

Preserve conflicts

When reliable sources disagree, we do not average them into a false certainty. The page should explain the conflict, identify the source type and tell the reader what to confirm.

Separate roles

Publisher, page author, reviewer, course operator and subject are different roles. Tim or Paemi appears as an article author only when a page-specific responsibility record supports that claim.

Commercial relationships
