Golf packages, honestly
A "golf package" just bundles the green fee, caddy, cart and transport — sometimes a hotel — and hands you the logistics. The best-value version already exists locally, and the marquee-course quotes carry a margin. Here's the real math, using our verified fees.
HOLE 01 — WHAT A PACKAGE IS
Four line items in a trench coat
Strip away the branding and a Pattaya golf package is just the same components you'd pay anyway — bundled, booked for you, and marked up.
| Line item | What it is | Typical range |
|---|---|---|
| Green fee | The round itself — varies most by course and day | ฿900–8,000 |
| Caddy | Compulsory almost everywhere; tip is separate | ฿300–500 (+tip) |
| Cart | Compulsory at the flagships, optional at walking courses | ฿500–1,000 |
| Transfer | Return transport hotel ↔ course — the real thing a package adds | ~฿800–1,500 return |
| Extras | Multi-round itineraries, tee-time booking, sometimes hotel or meals | varies |
HOLE 02 — THE BEST-VALUE PACKAGE
The local's version already includes the bus
The cheapest structured golf on the coast isn't a tourist package — it's the society / sport all-in day, and it already bundles the transport.
| Course (all-in day) | Price | Bundled |
|---|---|---|
| Bangpra | ฿1,750 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
| Khao Kheow | ฿1,850 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
| Pattaya CC | ฿1,950 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
| Phoenix Gold | ฿2,350 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
| Burapha | ฿2,350 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
| Laem Chabang | ฿3,750 | Green fee + caddy + cart + bus |
HOLE 03 — DIRECT VS PACKAGE
When each one wins
Book direct when…
You have your own transport (or a Grab budget), you're flexible on dates, and you want the verified price. Pay the club's green fee, caddy and cart yourself — for example Burapha ฿3,450 all-in or Laem Chabang ฿4,950 all-in — add a transfer, and you'll typically land under a packaged quote for the same round. Every course takes direct bookings.
Take a package (or society day) when…
You have no transport, no Thai, a group to coordinate, or you want tee times pre-booked across several courses. The logistics are the product. For the best price, start with a society all-in day; for marquee courses, get an itemised quote and check it against our green-fee ladder before you pay.
HOLE 04 — THE READ
Three rules before you pay
Add green fee + caddy + cart from the verified ladder, then a transfer. That's your benchmark — any package should be close to it, not double.
Is the cart in? Is the caddy tip in (it's usually not)? Are transfers return? Vague "from ฿X" quotes hide the extras.
The all-in society days beat almost any tourist package and already include the bus. If you're 4+ players, that's your cheapest structured golf.
HOLE 05 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS
The package questions
How much is a golf package in Pattaya?
The best-value structured golf is the local society/sport all-in day — green fee, caddy, cart and transport bus bundled for roughly ฿1,750–3,750 (Bangpra ฿1,750, Khao Kheow ฿1,850, Pattaya CC ฿1,950, Burapha/Phoenix ฿2,350, Laem Chabang ฿3,750). Tourist package sites bundle the same on marquee courses and add a margin, so compare any multi-round quote against the verified direct all-in.
Are Pattaya golf packages worth it?
Worth it when you have no transport, no Thai, or want tee times pre-booked across several courses — the package handles logistics. If you have your own wheels and can book direct, you'll usually beat the package price by paying the verified green fee, caddy and cart yourself and adding a transfer.
What's included in a golf package?
Typically the green fee, compulsory caddy and cart, plus return hotel transfers. Larger packages add multiple rounds across courses, tee-time booking, and sometimes hotel nights or meals. Caddy tip (฿400–600, cash) is almost always extra.
Can I just book golf direct?
Yes — every course takes direct bookings, and paying the verified fees yourself plus a transfer usually costs less than a packaged quote. Book direct if you're flexible and have transport; use a package or a society day if you want the logistics handled.
