HOLE 03 — THE ROUND

What you're playing

Real hills — a rarity on the coast

Most courses near Pattaya are flat resort layouts. Treasure Hill lives up to its name, using genuine hillside terrain for elevated tees, downhill approaches and views over the surrounding country.

A Yoshikazu Kato design (1994)

The Japanese architect routed the course to work with the slopes rather than flatten them — so club selection and stance matter more here than on the flat tracks. It rewards a thinking round.

7,264 yards, par 72

Full length from the tips, but the elevation is the real defence. Take a cart, play the sensible tee, and let the terrain do the talking.

A characterful inland option

An easy pairing with the other inland courses for a two-round day, and a change of scenery if you've been playing the flat resort tracks all trip.

HOLE 04 — GETTING THERE

From your hotel to the tee

Treasure Hill sits inland in the hills of Chonburi near Pattaya. Drive time depends on exactly where you start — confirm the route and timing when you book, and allow a little extra for the climb up to the clubhouse.

No car? Ride-hailing works for daytime rides but thins out inland — for an early tee use a fixed-fare golf taxi (agree the round-trip-with-waiting fare up front) or ride a society bus, where transport is bundled into the day price. The transfer playbook →

HOLE 05 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Asked every week

What is Treasure Hill like to play?

Hilly — that's the point. It's a Yoshikazu Kato design over genuinely undulating terrain, par 72 at 7,264 yards, with elevation changes and views you don't get from the coast's flatter resort courses. A cart is worth having.

How much does Treasure Hill cost?

Our verified weekday all-in was around ฿2,600 (green fee, caddy and cart) in June 2026. Fees move seasonally, so confirm the current itemised rate with the club before booking.

Who designed Treasure Hill?

The Japanese architect Yoshikazu Kato, who opened it in 1994. The routing uses the hillside terrain for elevated tees and approach shots, making it one of the more characterful inland rounds near Pattaya.
