The fine print: ~฿1,250 weekday all-in is our verified figure for June 2026 — one of the lowest full-round prices on the coast (see the green-fee ladder). We don't state an itemised green fee, caddy or cart until it's corroborated twice, so confirm the current card with the club. Caddy tip (฿400–600, cash) is always extra.

HOLE 03 — THE ROUND

What you're playing

Four island greens — the signature

Ronald Fream used water, dog-legs and four island greens to give a relatively short course real character. It's the island greens people remember — and the reason the scorecard bites harder than the length suggests.

A former mango plantation

The layout is carved from an old mango plantation, so mature trees and flowers frame nearly every green. Pretty, well-treed and a pleasant walk-and-ride.

Playable for everyone

At around 6,800 yards and par 72 it's forgiving off the tee and manageable for mixed groups — a low-stress, high-value round rather than a championship test.

Once Natural Park Hill

Opened in 1993 as Natural Park Hill Golf Club, it re-opened in 2004 after a full renovation including the clubhouse. Sitting on the Bangkok side, it's an easy add on the way in or out of the city.

HOLE 04 — GETTING THERE

From your hotel to the tee

Mountain Shadow sits on the Bangkok side of the region, roughly halfway between the capital and Pattaya — about 40 minutes north of central Pattaya via Sukhumvit / Motorway 7. That makes it a natural round to bolt onto an airport transfer day rather than a dawn trip from the beach.

No car? Bolt/Grab work for daytime rides; for an early tee use a fixed-fare golf taxi (agree the round-trip-with-waiting fare up front) or ride a society bus, where transport is bundled into the day price. The transfer playbook →

HOLE 05 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Asked every week

What makes Mountain Shadow different?

Four island greens and a routing carved out of a former mango plantation. It's a Ronald Fream (Golfplan) design, relatively short and forgiving, which — with a verified all-in around ฿1,250 — makes it one of the best-value playable rounds between Bangkok and Pattaya.

How much does Mountain Shadow cost?

Our verified weekday all-in was about ฿1,250 (green fee, caddy and cart) in June 2026 — among the cheapest full rounds on the coast. Confirm the current itemised rate with the club, as fees move seasonally.

Was Mountain Shadow called something else?

Yes — it originally opened in 1993 as Natural Park Hill Golf Club and re-opened in 2004 after a full renovation, including the clubhouse. It sits roughly halfway between Bangkok and Pattaya.
