HOLE 05 — STRAIGHT ANSWERS

Asked every week

Can civilians play a Navy golf course?

Yes — Plutaluang is run by the Royal Thai Navy but open to public play, bookable by phone or through the usual platforms. Golfer reviews run right through April–May 2026; it's business as usual.

Which nines should I play?

Four compass nines — North, South, East, West — combine freely. North + South is the classic championship pairing (~7,093 yards from the blues); all 36 holes together stretch past 13,900 yards.

What does it cost?

Indicative green fees ฿700 weekday / ฿900 weekend (last dated Nov 2024 — confirm on arrival) plus ฿300 caddy and optional ฿600 cart, both verified current in 2026. The all-in was ฿1,500/1,700. Tip your caddy from ฿400.
